Portfolio

The biggest problem with the Internet, from a job-hunting perspective, is its transient nature. Much of my work is no longer available online, and so the standard employer request for a list of URLs is vexing. To that end, I'm making some examples of my past work available online and in PDF format:

I'm currently looking for full-time employment in Massachusetts, but I am available for part-time or contract work as well. I've been doing web development for 7 years now, and since that first hand-coded HTML page I made in 1995 I've worn a lot of different hats; HTML coder, web graphic designer, flash interface designer, creative director, PHP programmer, and technical writer.

Most of my recent work has revolved around the creation of database-driven intranet applications with PHP and technical writing, but I'm always drawing on my design experience when it comes to interface and appearance; although visual design, programming, and integration are traditionally kept separate in larger organizations, I've always been happiest working the spaces between all three; because I came at programming from a design angle, I can take a backend application and provide a web interface that's both attractive, functional, and above all practical.
